About Journal:

Aims and scope
Territory, Politics, Governance (TPG) is an interdisciplinary journal committed to theory and research on territorial politics and the governance of space. The journal is a forum for innovative theoretical and empirical scholarship of the highest standard, confronting topical and emergent issues as they intersect with territory, politics and governance. It publishes original contributions from this growing, vibrant field directed at an international scholarly audience.

TPG is a global journal. We invite submissions from, and about, all parts of the world. We welcome submissions with an area focus alongside submissions that theorise or provide comparative analyses across contexts. We encourage authors focusing on specific areas or locales to explore their broader theoretical or empirical implications.

We welcome theoretical interventions and theoretically motivated and rigorous qualitative, quantitative and multi-method empirical research. To be accepted, a paper must adhere to the highest standards of scholarship and make an important contribution at the intersection of territory, politics and governance. We seek original paper submissions from scholars across the social sciences, humanities and professional studies, including political science, geography, sociology, anthropology, planning studies, law, public administration, policy studies, cultural studies, history, science and technology studies, environmental sciences and others working on contemporary and historical territorial politics and the governance of space.
