About Journal:

Aims and scope
The Journal of Evidence-Based Social Work aims to disseminate peer-reviewed knowledge on the development, implementation, and ongoing use of evidence-based practice to advance the field of social work. Effective evidence-based practice includes a combination of clinical evidence for heterogeneous populations, expertise, practice wisdom, individual values, and community preferences to inform culturally responsive decision-making and approaches for a wide range of populations and settings. Contributions intended to improve, critique, or refine evidence-based practice in social work, broadly defined, will be considered for peer-review. Each contribution must clearly state its relevance and application toward an evidence-based approach to social work. The journal also considers special issues, featuring a selection of articles related to timely and important themes. Individuals interested in guest editing a special issue should contact the editors.
