The journal’s audience includes gerontologists, adult educators, behavioral and social scientists, and geriatricians interested age-related changes in cognitive function, psychological well-being, biological processes and behavior.

Areas of major focus include experimental psychology, neuropsychology, psychobiology, work research, ergonomics, and behavioral medicine. The Journal has particular interest in works that advance the field of aging through robust experimental methods, translational findings, novel interventions, and cutting-edge technology applications.
