Aims and scope
AI, Brain, & Child (ABC) aims to publish cutting-edge research in artificial intelligence (AI), cognitive neuroscience, child development, and educational practices. It aims to serve as an interdisciplinary channel to enhance our understanding of learning and teaching in the age of AI and digital technology. Its primary mission is to foster collaboration across disciplines, advance scientific knowledge, and inform evidence-based educational strategies. Specifically, ABC focuses on improving educational practices and outcomes across the lifespan—from thriving children to adults—by providing key insights drawn from the latest AI and neuroscientific research.

It is an open-access, interdisciplinary, international, peer-reviewed scientific journal that publishes original studies, commentaries, editorials, opinions, and reviews on AI and neuroscientific research to inform and improve educational assessment, practice, and policy in the AI and digital era. The journal’s unique organizational and editorial structure encourages contributions from scientists and educators, while its innovative format fosters meaningful dialogue across all related disciplines.
