The Journal of HIV & Social Services provides a forum in which social workers and other disciplinary professionals in the field of HIV work can access and disseminate the latest research and information to provide effective social, educational, and clinical services to individuals affected by HIV.
As the only journal focused specifically on social services in HIV care, the Journal of HIV & Social Services features articles on the psychosocial and support needs of people affected by HIV, innovative interventions and programs that advance the quality of life for people living with HIV, their families and communities, and evidence-based practices aimed at reducing HIV inequities and improving health outcomes.
Our unique emphasis on the intersections of social, economic, racial, gender, and healthcare disparities sets us apart, highlighting the complex challenges and resilience within communities affected by HIV. Additionally, there is an emphasis on promoting the highest professional standards and ethics in practice and research in the field of HIV.
